About the Journal
The Journal of Lycanthropic Liturgies is a non-commercial, high-effort, entirely deadpan tribute to Werewolf Bar Mitzvah, the 2007 novelty rap performed by fictional actor Tracy Jordan in the third-season 30 Rock episode “Cougars.” It is written and edited by an anonymous collective of scholars who refuse to be named until Comcast/NBCUniversal greenlights the feature film.
Editorial Position
All annotations, essays, midrash, glossary entries, and archival plates published under this masthead are the sole work of the Journal's editorial board and do not represent the views of any character, cast member, writer, or rights-holder affiliated with 30 Rock. The Journal is a work of critical fandom in the scholarly-tribute tradition; it does not solicit or accept outside submissions at this time.
Sources & Materials
The Journal hosts no audio or video. All primary source material is embedded from official Spotify and YouTube streams. No official NBC/Peacock branding, typography, or artwork is used or replicated. The archival plates on the Artifacts page are original AI-generated compositions produced for this Journal and depict no NBC-owned characters, sets, or trade dress. No advertising, merchandise, affiliate revenue, or user data monetization exists on this site.
Legal
30 Rock, Werewolf Bar Mitzvah, and all associated marks and copyrights remain the property of NBCUniversal Media, LLC. The Journal claims no affiliation with, or endorsement by, the rights holders. Requests from rights-holders regarding any specific element on this site will be honoured promptly and in good faith; the domain has been secured out of enthusiasm, not ambition.
Colophon Proper
Set in EB Garamond and JetBrains Mono. Printed on virtual cream stock. The full Initiative — the annotator, the eleven-essay Apparatus, the six-entry Comparative Midrash, the archival plates, the glossary, and this colophon — was built with Lovable and Lovable Cloud, because in the vibe-coding era the distance between “half-baked midnight joke” and “fully realized interactive tribute” is basically zero.
